Setterwalls has successfully represented Saphenia LLC and Saphenia Commercial Products AB et al in a total of three cases against the listed company ContextVision AB (publ).
Both companies provide software for medical image enhancement and Saphenia's founders are previous employees of ContextVision. In light of this, Saphenia had brought negative declaratory action against ContextVision to establish that Saphenia's software did not infringe ContextVision's software and that Saphenia has not unauthorizedly disclosed or used information concerning i.a. the software. The cases have been technically complicated with several expert witnesses from both parties. Linköping District Court rendered it decision on June 12 and it was completely in conformity with Saphenia's action.
