The events company Stockholm Globe Arenas is owned by AEG Facilities, which owns, runs and develops facilities and arenas across the world. AEG Facilities is, for example, responsible for the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, the Beijing Olympic Basketball Arena in Beijing, the O2 Arena in London and Acer Arena in Sydney. AEG Facilities is a wholly-owned subsidiary to the Anschutz Company, which is one of the leading organisers of sports and entertainment events in the world.
Stockholm Globe Arenas has long been responsible for the running of Ericsson Globe, Annexet, Hovet, Söderstadion and Skyview in the events area south of Stockholm, and will also run the new arena, with 30,000 seats in the events area to be inaugurated in the summer of 2013.
Stockholm Globe Arenas and Tele2 have now entered a 10-year agreement which gives Tele2 the right to be the main partner to the new arena, and which names the arena Tele2 Arena. Setterwalls has advised Stockholm Globe Arenas in the negotiations.
Setterwalls' team consisted of Sophia Spala, Owe Hjelmqvist, Elin Persson, Jessica Schönning and Marie Hedin.
