JÖRGEN ALMELÖV is head of Setterwalls’ Maritime group which includes ship finance. Jörgen specialises in arbitration, shipping and commodity trading. He has represented parties in many international and domestic arbitrations. Recently Jörgen has been counsel in several substantial international arbitrations related to the oil and gas industry. His experience comprises of both Institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. Jörgen also has a strong non-contentious practice. He has almost 25 years experience in providing service to the shipping and commodity industry, including ship finance and complex projects of various kinds. Jörgen regularly advises international clients, including shipowners/charterers, banks and insurance companies with a variety of matters.
