ERIK HELLNERS heads the practice group Commercial in Stockholm and is also a member of Setterwalls’ EU & Competition Law and Aviation practice groups. Erik is a commercial and competition law specialist with long experience as in-house counsel with specific responsibility for these issues at SAS, Scandinavia’s largest airline. Erik also has in-depth knowledge of the specific commercial, strategic and regulatory challenges faced by the airline industry. Erik also works with M&A and has substantial experience of leading both Swedish and international M&A projects and joint ventures. In terms of competition law issues, Erik has particular expertise in the various forms of abuse of dominant position, cartels and distribution issues. He has represented clients at proceedings before the EU Commission and various national competition authorities and courts.
