- We have recently made a number of strategic hires. We are very pleased to add to the list, Agnes Larfeldt Alvén. With her unique knowledge and experience of water law, permit applications under the environmental code as well as climate-related issues, she represents a superb addition to our environment group. This recruitment puts Setterwalls firmly on the map as a leading advisor and partner in environmental law, says Joakim Edoff, CEO of Setterwalls.
Agnes Larfeldt Alvén is a member of the Swedish Bar and Specialist Counsel. She joins us from Mannheimer Swartling where she headed up the water law practice. She was also previously a partner of the law firm, Vinge. Agnes is ranked by PLC Which Lawyer? as "leading" in her area.
- Setterwalls is a well respected firm with a full-service concept and it will be very exciting to be part of the team, which will continue to develop Setterwalls' services in environmental law says Agnes Larfeldt Alvén .
- For a number of years now, Agnes Larfeldt Alvén has been part of the Swedish elite in water law as well as industrial and environmental law. Agnes provides the environment group, which now consists of seven lawyers at the firm's offices in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö, with a greater market presence both in terms of skill-set, experience and geographical reach. The group will be better able to meet the growing demand for environmental law advice which arises both directly from our clients and from our business groups, says, Anders Linnerborg, who is responsible for Setterwalls' environment practice..
Setterwalls kicked off a broad investment in environmental law earlier this year through the recruitment of Anders Linnerborg, Jonas Söderstjerna and Andrea Wikhäll from Advokatfirman Lindahl.
Setterwalls environment group provides guidance in making infrastructure investments, construction contracts and land developments. Our environmental law specialists litigate water and environmental matters in courts and work regularly with the prevention and elimination of environmental problems and risks associated with developments, acquisitions and other projects. Setterwalls also advises in permit, supervisory and environmental loss matters. Setterwalls is briefed by Swedish and international companies of varying sizes as well as the state and municipalities.
