Setterwalls has advised FIAT in connection with the centralisation and restructuring of FIAT’s business in Scandinavia.

The aim of the centralisation, implemented gradually during 2014, has been to facilitate the working environment for Scandinavia and achieve synergy effects in order to better serve the Scandinavian market. Among other things, Setterwalls has assisted FIAT with all negotiations and other employment related issues in connection with the centralisation. Fiat (Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino) is an Italian car manufacturer which was founded in Italy in 1899 and has its main office in Turin. Fiat Group owns almost the entire car industry in Italy including Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati. The company is also a very important part of the Italian engineering industry within various areas; e.g. manufacturing of aircraft engines, lorries, busses (Iveco) and excavators.
