Setterwalls assists in the start-up of the government owned venture capital company Almi Invest AB

Almi is planning to start-up eight regionally focused subsidiaries to Almi Invest AB. The objective is to increase the availability of venture capital to companies in early stages.

The investment is made by means from structural funds of the EU. Almi Invest AB’s total equity is estimated to nearly SEK 1 billion. 

Setterwalls, with a team consisting of Thomas Ehrner (partner in charge), Pamela Lannerheim Angergård and Anders Grefberg, have been retained as legal advisors for Almi.
