Setterwalls assists Arise Windpower in the acquisition of a company for wind power project worth SEK 3.1 billion

Arise Windpower AB (publ) is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and is one of Sweden’s leading companies in onshore wind power with the business concept of selling electricity produced using its own onshore wind power stations. Setterwalls Advokatbyrå has assisted Arise Windpower in its acquisition of Jädraås Vindkraft AB, a project company that holds permits to build up to 116 wind power stations. The purchase price is MSEK 250 and includes the extensive project and development work of many years which Arise Windpower will realize together with Platina Partners LLP. The total investment in the Jädraås project, including expansion and acquisition of 66 V112 stations from Vestas, amounts to approx. SEK 3.1 billion. Loan financing is contributed through a syndicate consisting of DnB NOR, SEB, EKF (Dansk exportkreditnämnd) and Pension Danmark.
