Setterwalls advising in the establishment of Södertälje Science Park

A Shareholders’ and Cooperation agreement has been signed between Scania, AstraZeneca, Acturum, KTH, and Södertälje Kommun for the establishment of Södertälje Science Park.

Leif Östling, President of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and previous positions including CEO of Scania, will be the chairman of Södertälje Science Park. Östling says: – “Close collaboration between industry, academy and society is the basis for successful investments in research, development and entrepreneurship. Södertälje Science Park promotes Sweden to maintain its strong position as a leading industrial nation.”

Södertälje Science Park will be established in AstraZeneca’s former research and development facilities as well as in a new building in central Södertälje, where also the new KTH Royal Institute of Technology campus is planning to set up in autumn 2017.
