Setterwalls is one of the firms which have grown fastest in Sweden and the practice comprises all fields of business law from banking and finance through to sport, media and entertainment.
Because our clients often work with the latest technology or business models, assignments at Setterwalls are both challenging and stimulating. We assist the client with some of the market’s most sophisticated legal services, something which imposes considerable demands on the firm and our workforce. Together with competent and experienced colleagues you will work in a professional and developing environment at the cutting edge of law.
Setterwalls is owned and organised on the principle of a true partnership. This means that the profit of the firm is divided equally between the partners irrespective of who handles the client matter. Thanks to this structure, we can guarantee that the client’s matter is handled by those lawyers who have the best experience and competence for each specific assignment. We are very proud of our corporate culture; what we call the spirit of Setterwalls. It is characterised by a pleasant atmosphere, being supportive of each other, appreciation of personal qualities and diversity. In this spirit we can constantly create new conditions for creativity and job satisfaction. At Setterwalls we also know that a good balance between work and private life is a precondition for performing well. With this as our guiding principle, it is not mere coincidence that we attract so many skilled people or that those who have already chosen to work at Setterwalls remain with us. As a newly employed lawyer you will be part of one, or perhaps more, of our practice groups. The choice of group is determined by your interests, your preferences or the needs of the firm. At Setterwalls we stress the importance of all lawyers being able to work in the majority of legal fields to facilitate a better overview of each assignment.
Regardless of whether you come to us to work as a lawyer or with administration, you will be appointed a supervisor from day one. The supervisor will act as a support and coach you in your work. Your individual career and development plan will be set in conjunction with your supervisor. You will get continual feedback, which provides a good foundation for your personal and professional development. When you start with us, you will receive the support of a supervisor or mentor who will ensure that you get the information and help you might need during your first days at the firm. You will also receive an introduction, which is part of the basic education programme for everyone who starts working at Setterwalls.
It comprises everything from a review of our internal systems, routines and knowledge management to a presentation of our history and corporate culture, practice groups and business plan.
